The heart of Pugh’s Garden Village Radyr is of course the garden centre itself. It is this iconic site that has evolved from the original Ty Nant Nurseries established by Colin Pugh over 40 years ago.
In keeping with tradition, each season provides the visitor with a different experience of the garden centre.
With autumn comes a staggering selection of flowering bulbs — including daffodils, crocus, tulips and snowdrops — which can be purchased as single loose bulbs or sacks of up to 25kg depending on your personal planting needs.
During the festive period the shop is adorned in countless festive lights and decorations, and boasts the most inspiring Christmas displays, wreaths, and non-needle drop trees.
The winter months offer an abundance of grow-your-own seeds that range from fruit and vegetables to summer flowering bulbs, baby bedding and all the necessary extras.
This exciting and experimental period leads into early spring, which also brings with it fantastic Easter displays, gifts, and inspirations.
Year-round there is a selection of hosepipes and attachments on display to ensure your garden is kept hydrated, and a selection of freshly cut flowers that our resident florist is able to craft into arrangements to suit your requirements.
The shop’s atmosphere is further enhanced by the sound of Garden Radio, and our fully-trained staff are always on hand to make your unique experience all the more pleasant.
