The tempting aromas of fresh coffee and bacon butties lure people daily into our relaxing coffee shop. Those with a sweet tooth can enjoy a delicious slice of ‘homemade’ cake; from carrot to lemon drizzle, the generous portions will leave you quite content. If you would like a little help deciding what to choose, our friendly staff are always happy to recommend from the days ‘specials board’. A favourite for many is the cornbeef pie and gravy. Yum!
During the warmer seasons, why not lunch al fresco on the decked area, which overlooks a delightful water garden. Recently updated with a new range of Kettler garden furniture, on which to sit.
If the temperature drops and you need to warm up, the cosy log fire will have you settled in no time. Sorry there are no marshmallows to toast here, but there are plenty on an indulgent cup of hot chocolate. Go all out and have the cream and chocolate sprinkles. Just don’t count the calories!
From the coffee shop’s windows can be seen a popular feeding area for birds. An established oak tree is regularly filled with a selection of seed feeders, which attract a menagerie of birds. Our most recent visitor is a pheasant we call ‘George’ as he’s always curious and loves his reflection in the glass doors.
So, if you fancy ‘homemade’ food in pleasant surroundings, come and visit us.
Hope to see you soon, we’ve put the coffee on for you!
