A Room Outside - Make the most of your garden this spring/summer

The moment the sun comes out, everyone in Britain heads outside to enjoy the garden. Whether it's a spot of sunbathing, or an al fresco dinner party, furnishing your outdoor space comfortably makes those precious summer moments go with a swing.

We have outdoor furniture in dozens of styles in our garden centre in Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan: to help you choose, ask yourself these questions first.

How much room have I got? Making the best use of the space you've got by measuring the area accurately and plotting on graph paper what size of furniture would fit best.

Is the style right? Blend your furniture with the wider garden's design: for minimalist city spaces, choose funky modern styles, while traditional wood or metal suit rural country gardens.

What about storage? If you've got a garage or shed, folding furniture packs away easily for winter. If not protective covers and storage boxes, both available in our garden centre, keep furniture in tip-top condition.
