Catering Assistant, Permanent Contract (Radyr, Cardiff)

Salary: up to £12.21 per hour depending on age and experience

Location: Pugh's Garden Centre Radyr, Cardiff, CF15 8LB

Job Type: 1 x permanent contract, weekend hours only, Saturday 10am – 5pm, Sunday 10am – 4.30pm

We are looking for an experienced Catering Assistant to join our team in The Watering Can Café at Pugh's Garden Village in Radyr. For this position we are looking for somebody who can be flexible and worth both in the Kitchen and Front of House.

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience working in high volume catering establishments
• Be capable of working in both Kitchen & Front of House
• Be enthusiastic, confident and have excellent customer service skills
• Expect to be consistently busy throughout their shift
• Have basic cooking skills
• Love to work as part of a team
• Demonstrate high standards of food hygiene
• Have a basic understanding of health and safety
• Have a flexible approach to working hours
