Salary: up to £12.21 per hour depending on age

2 x 20 hour temporary seasonal contract

As an Outdoor Plant Area Retail Assistant, you will be responsible for;
- Maintaining and ensuring the Outdoor Garden Care is immaculately presented at all times, and stock is replenished as required
- General shop floor maintenance and housekeeping
- Assisting customers with advice and carry to the car
- Using the EPOS system
- Merchandising stock and any other duties required by the Department Manager
- Follow guidelines on action points following reports and floor-walks
- Print and put out POS material in the relevant area

- Respectful approach to all Pugh’s policies including - health and safety, and use of staff uniforms
- An openness to develop new skills and be an active part of new projects and developments
- Able to work some weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
- Confident use of telephones.
- Lifting and manual work will be required – sometimes in inclement weather. (This role involves maintaining displays, stock levels and customer service levels in our popular and expanding stone pot / ornaments and compost areas, as well as the outdoor plants department.)
