Parking Attendant, Temporary Seasonal Contract (Radyr, Cardiff)

We currently have an opportunity for a Parking Attendant at our site in Radyr.

Salary: up to £12.21 per hour depending on age and experience

Location: Pugh's Garden Centre Radyr, Cardiff, CF15 8LB

Job Type: 1 x 10 hours temporary seasonal contract. 10 hours per week over 7 days to include every Saturday and Sunday. Shifts are between the hours of 11am and 4pm.

The role will be subject to references. Full training will be provided.

As a Parking Attendant your role will involve;

• Undertaking regular patrols of the car park.
• Customer service assisting with queries/complaints
• General onsite cleaning
• General onsite admin
• Overseeing the use of car parking facilities
• Ensuring security and maintenance of the parking area
• Directing users to available parking spaces
• Monitoring the area to prevent theft or vandalism
• Providing customer service to patrons.

The ideal candidate will display;

• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Good Customer service skills
• Good numerical skills
• Good technical experience and ability to use smart phones and / or PDA’s
• The ability to deal with conflict whilst remaining calm and polite at all times
• The ability to work under their own initiative and self-motivate
• Accuracy and attention detail
• Awareness of Health and Safety
