Free Children's 'Grow Your Own' Demonstrations at Pugh's Wenvoe

We are thrilled to be re-joining The Vale Food Trail 2025 and adding Pugh's Garden Centre in Wenvoe to their map of locations once again to offer a free activity for our local community which highlights the connection between food, wellbeing, and climate change.
Join us at Pugh's Garden Centre in Wenvoe on Bank Holiday Monday, 26th May where our team member Chrissie will be running free demonstrations for family's and children to attend in our outdoor plant area! Chrissie will be showcasing how to engage the next generation of gardener's and inspire children to successfully grow their own fruit and vegetables at home with hands-on examples and the opportunity for a Q&A session after each demonstration.
These sessions will be taking place at 10am, 12pm and 2pm. These demonstrations are free, but if you would like to come along, we ask that you please book your space in advance via this web page.
There will also be local food tasters taking place in our Food Hall on this day, so be sure to pop by there during your visit and help us celebrate some of our local food businesses. You can also enjoy a range of specials in our Orange Tree Restaurant celebrating Welsh food including a Welsh Lamb Burger, Welsh Cawl and Freshly Baked Cakes.
We can't wait for you to join us!
